The Ferrero estate is located on the famed southern slopes of Montalcino, arguably the most appreciated of Tuscany’s wine regions. A graduate of Alba’s famous enology school, Claudia creates a rich and complex Brunello in traditional style.

 

On recent vintages ... 

· Gambero Rosso – “We liked the Brunello for its warm, fruity notes of bottled wild cherries and blackberry jam, and it palate that develops well backed up by soft, even tannins.

· Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – 90 Points “I was quite taken by skillful balancing of  tradition and a modern approach …smooth and elegant in flavor, fresh and sustained in its flow over the palate … already very pleasurable.”

· Wine Spectator – 91 Points “Shows earth and berry aromas.  Hints of fresh herbs follow through to a full body, with lots of dried fruit and spices on the palate.  Long and flavorful.
